Here’s My Sidecar recipe:
2 oz Cognac (or brandy, or rum)
3/4 oz Pierre Ferrand Dry Curacao (or other orange liqueur)
3/4 oz lemon juice
Scant tsp agave (or simple syrup, best if a rich syrup 2:1 sugar:water)
NOTE: adjust sugar to your taste. If you go overboard, add a bit more lemon juice till you have the balance you want)
Add ingredients to a shaker filled with ice; shake 30 sec or till well chilled. Strain into a coupe glass, garnish with orange twist (literally twist the peel over the drink to sprinkle with orange oil before setting your garnish). Enjoy! And, please: no sugar rim
