Kimberley Rudd

Combining the creativity of a marketing whiz with the buttoned-down skills of a business management professional, Kimberley Evans Rudd brings more than 20 years of experience in corporate, non-profit and government programs. Her career includes tenures at Burrell Public Relations, the Chicago Park District and KaBOOM!, a national non-profit organization, as well as with her own enterprise, Rudd Resources LLC.

Kim has developed and managed public-relations programs for such major corporations as Mary Kay Cosmetics, the National Marrow Donor Program and Brown-Forman Beverage Corporation, for whose nationally touring fashion show and non-profit fundraising event she handled event production (including script writing), media relations and community relations. She also has experience in cultivating and selling sponsorship. Apt to start most sentences with “Why don’t we …”, Kim drives creative promotions and compelling events that engage and motivate audiences. She staged the first-ever women’s workout 10,000 calorie marathon in a south Chicago shopping center, sponsored by a women’s hair-care product company, and organized sponsorship, ticket sales and event execution of a charity baseball outing at the home field of the Chicago White Sox that raised$113,000 for the American Diabetes Association.

As a writer, Kim has developed a wide array of collateral materials, including brochures, scripts, program booklets and print advertisements. Her writing has been featured in such publications as the Chicago Tribune and Essencemagazine, as well as in an anthology on pregnancy. She also has been a frequent speaker on social entrepreneurism.
