Catherine Lange brings a unique blend of verbal and visual communications skills to her design work. Her user-friendly layouts and clean design are the result of 30 years’ experience in communications, publishing and the graphic arts. Catherine is a creative, collaborative, award-winning communicator whose versatile range of skills includes graphic design, photography, writing, editing, print production management, and database publishing.

Catherine managed publications for The University of Chicago Law School, the Chicago Park District, and Chicago Public Schools. She served as managing editor ofThe Ragan Report, a weekly resource for organizational communicators. She managed a typesetting company, an in-house printing facility, and production for Aperture, Inc. in New York.

Catherine’s wide range of assignments include designing a family of product brochures for the Illinois Finance Authority that clearly communicates complex eligibility requirements; developing the design and technical production solutions to create a program publication used by over 70 Chicago theaters; initiating and implementing the Chicago Park District’s first centrally administered data collection system, which enabled the city’s 20,000 annual classes to be marketed both in print and online; and consulting with Mayo Clinic’s Collaborative Services, Inc. to strengthen management of its marketing production process.
